    Workout 7, 6.22.06

    Its time for a change, isnt it?  While this week's workout will start at the same time and place (6:30pm @ North Chevy Chase Starbucks) we're not doing hills.
    We'll do a little introduction to speed workouts, nothing crazy but it could be fun.
    We'll start with a half-mile warmup, followed by 4x1mi repeats and a halfmile cooldown.  The repeats aren't going to be too fast, think of it as the pace you could hold for 10k (6.2m) or 10 miles.
     
    AND - its hot.  Please hydrate all day and carry at least enough fluid for the five mile workout.

    Workout 6, June 15,2006

    At the risk of boring you with the same old workout, we're doing the same workout this week.  Same place: Starbucks on Ct Ave & Jones Mill in Kensington, same time: 6:30pm, same workout: 2 mile out and back with a couple of repeats on the Mormon Temple Hill. But, I do promise a treat at the end.
     
    While I was away, Madhav did say that everyone enjoyed the Indian file runs on the Capital Crescent...so lets do it again. There I go again, same old thing.
     
    I did have a very enlightening running week: two runs along the South Jordan River in Salt Lake City, UT (not much of a river, but wonderful scenery) and a weekend full of running information at a RRCA Coaching Certification class.  I'll talk a little about it Thursday and post some information in the next few days.

    Workout 5, 6.8.06

    This week's workout will be a repeat of last week: an easy 2 mile run on the Capitol Crescent, 1-2 repeats on the Mormon Temple hill and a two mile return.
    I'm sad to say, though, that I probably won't make the workout.  Madhav will be leading off from the same spot as last week: the Starbucks on Connecticut Ave @ Jones Mill Road.
